Ah, redoing your own CV is difficult.
I keep trying to think how to make it memorable, whilst informative, how to make my qualifications look like the next best thing since sliced bread… And I’m kind of failing.
My CV is so outdated, that I pretty much have to re-design it completely… And there are so many other projects I want to work on!
I’m doing a bit of it every day, so I can work in other stuff. In any case, I’m trying to get a headstart, as I will remain in my company until March for sure, and then, well, it depends on what I’m offered, but I know how time tends to creep up on you, so I decided to start already.
In the meantime, I’m doing a calendar I saw on an online shop (maybe I should focus on this one as the year has already started?). It involved dismantling an archive folder (the ones that have the big rings in the middle people use to store invoices and similar) in order to use the rings.
These, I will attach them to a piece of laminated wood, or a hard cardboard, I’m not sure yet. The calendar will then be A3 sheets, hanging from the rings. Only, I’m not hesitating whether to include January at all, as I will probably not be able to finish it before I go on holidays, and I will be back pretty much in February!
Anyway, the CV. I’m wondering whether I should take this chance to aim it at a more creative role… Maybe I should put my little Graphic Design knowledge to work and try to get something cool, in which case, it won’t be ready by March!
Any ideas?
