Hello there!
I’m just writing to let you know about my plans for tonight. Why? You must be wondering… Well, tonight I’m going on a photo walk with a group of photography lovers! We’re practising night photography and I couldn’t be more excited about it.
Right now I’m not sure how many we’re going to be, four for sure, but maybe six. We’re going to photograph a couple of areas of London, playing with the camera settings and hoping to learn a lot!
I’ve never done night photography, so you can imagine how exciting this is. We’re not going to the usual (yet amazing at night) places like Piccadilly, but will portray some equally beautiful areas around the Thames.
Thinking about it now, I’ve been expecting today for a long time, as I organised this before I went to Argentina!
The rest of my projects are on pause at the moment, due to budget restrains. It’s the end of the month and I can’t spend money on materials. I’m still crocheting, but I’m growing bored of the yarn I’m using to practise and I’m ready to move on to a real project. Again, this will have to wait.
I had another sewing class on Thursday and we did a make-up bag (pictures coming soon) of which I’m quite proud! I had never imagined I would be able to fit a zip correctly (and relatively straight) so that it actually closed! Practising some more straight lines, cutting corners and even some hand stitching, the finished product looks really nice for being the first one I’ve ever made. Next week we’ll be doing alterations, and I have some ideas of what I want to try, but we’ll see if they can be done or not. It’s a pity I won’t have any more classes after that…
Right, it’s time to start getting ready for this evening: check my gear, make sure all the batteries are charged, all the cards are empty and ready, and think of a few shoots I want to take. I can’t wait to show you my photos!
