A trick of three notes

This week has been an interesting one. As you know, I kick-started the training session, which left me achy for the whole week. It serves me right, though, maybe next time I won’t leave it for as long. Still, it was good aches, the right kind. Work was very busy, but I enjoyed the week. Some projects I had been working on for ages were put on hold, but other that came unexpectedly came out quite right, so I’m happy about the overall outcome. I’m also finding I like designing logos more and more! On Wednesday, my team and I finally had our Christmas team outing. We had decided to postpone it, since we didn’t have much time before the holidays. Our boss had kept it secret, so we had no idea what we were going to do, or where! It was quite exciting, I must say, although I was worried I wasn’t going to like it. I tried, however, to keep an open mind (read be quietly judgmental if it wasn’t to my liking). …

Sick and knit

Today, since I felt a bit more motivated, I decided to make a bracelet I saw on Pinterest ages ago and that has been recently appearing again on my feed. I really liked the braided cable one in …

I am not sure how this post is going to turn out, as it’s the first time I try to do something like this. For a while now, I’ve been thinking about showing other people’s work, share it with all of you, but every time I’ve started writing the actual post, I’ve felt a bit silly about it. Everyone around me inspires me and I am lucky enough to be surrounded by exceptional artists. Some of them I know in person, others are in my circle of friends and friends-of-friends – that doesn’t mean their work doesn’t inspire me too! From photography to crafts, from music to illustration, from writing to cooking, I would like to start sharing with you the hard work that people around me are doing towards what they love the most, and how some of them are actually quite successful at it. Before I go ahead and introduce the first, I would like to add that I’m doing this for the only reason of showcasing others’ work. I am not getting …
