The September issue

I have the feeling that August was a really busy month, even if when I try to think hard about what I’ve been doing, I can’t really come up with anything… Is that age? During August, as you know, I decided I wanted every week to be a short one, so I took every Monday off, and sometimes even the Tuesday! It was good, it felt great… but it also meant that I have had troubles figuring out which day of the week it was during the whole month! I sold some books, and gave away a bunch. I finished my Whole30 and did my reintroduction. I’ve helped Ronald McDonald House a few times as well. If you remember, I’ve also gone to the theatre a few times, as well as a steam train day trip (I know, I still have to share the photos). I have also been to the hospital a bunch of times, for check-ups. In the last month I’ve had ultrasound scanners, x-rays and MRI scanners done, for different issues. I’m …

The story so far…

Recently, I got curious about the beginning of this blog. I’ve been blogging for the past three years with more or less frequency on this same site, only it had a different name back then; I can’t really remember how it all felt back then, so I decided to have a look around the archives (which you can also do by filtering the contents using the drop-down arrow just below the main category menu and above the featured posts). My first post was aptly titled Welcome, and introduction, I’m nothing if not organised, I guess. It was interesting to read it again, and realise that of all the things I listed I wanted to write about, I’ve done most of them. I still like drawing, but my drawings are so bad that I never want to show them to anyone (although that’s something I might be planning to change this year, we’ll see).
